Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coastline Harmony Builders did an amazing job on our home renovation in LA. Custom Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

Do you service both Orange County and Los Angeles?

Yes, we proudly serve homeowners throughout both Orange County and Los Angeles County.

Which custom kitchen brands do you work with?

We install premium cabinetry from top American manufacturers like Omega, Fieldstone, Diamond, StarMark Cabinetry, Crystal Cabinet Works, Wood-Mode, and Plain & Fancy, as well as fully bespoke local millwork.

What does “Design & Build” actually mean for my project?

It means you get a single point of contact for the entire renovation. We work alongside talented kitchen designers to ensure your vision is structurally feasible, then our in-house team handles all permitting, demolition, electrical, plumbing, and flawless installation.

Do I need a permit for a custom kitchen remodel?

Yes, significant remodels involving structural, electrical, or plumbing changes require city permits. As a licensed GC, we manage the entire permitting process to ensure strict California code compliance.

How long does a fully custom kitchen remodeling project take?

A full turnkey custom remodel typically takes 3 to 6 months. This timeline includes the 3D design phase, securing necessary city permits, the manufacturing lead time for custom wood cabinetry, and complete construction.

What is the difference between custom kitchen remodeling and semi-custom cabinets?

Custom kitchen remodeling gives you the highest level of flexibility. Cabinets, islands, storage, finishes, range hoods, trim, and layout details can be designed around your exact space and vision. Semi-custom cabinets use existing cabinet box systems with selected door styles, fronts, finishes, and modifications. Semi-custom is often faster and more budget-friendly, while fully custom remodeling is better for homeowners who want a one-of-a-kind kitchen, premium materials, unique dimensions, and a more personalized design-build experience.
