Why Work With a Licensed General Contractor?

While we are proud to be on the Semihandmade recommended contractor list, we offer much more than basic assembly. As a licensed Class B Semihandmade recommended contractor, we manage the entire remodel across Orange County and LA County. Many projects require demolition, drywall repair, electrical updates, and plumbing reroutes. Coastline Harmony Builders coordinates all these trades, delivering a true turnkey experience.

Our Semihandmade Installation Process

Step 1 — Design Review & Prep

We review your Semihandmade/IKEA or BOXI design plans, verify measurements, and prepare the space, handling any necessary demolition or utility updates.

Step 2 — Foundation & Assembly

We assemble the cabinet boxes (if using IKEA SEKTION) and ensure everything is perfectly level, plumb, and secured to the framing.

Step 3 — Custom Fronts & Trim

We install your premium Semihandmade doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, toe-kicks, and decorative hardware with meticulous attention to detail.

Step 4 — Full Remodel Coordination

Beyond cabinets, we coordinate countertops, plumbing fixtures, appliance installation, and final touch-ups for a complete, move-in-ready kitchen.

Yes, as a Semihandmade Recommended Installer, we proudly serve homeowners throughout both Orange County and Los Angeles County.

Do you install Semihandmade doors and panels?

Yes. We install Semihandmade doors, drawer fronts, panels, fillers, toe-kicks, trim, and related finish pieces for IKEA SEKTION cabinet systems.

Do you install BOXI cabinets?

Yes. We can install BOXI cabinet systems and help coordinate the kitchen project around the cabinet installation.

Are you listed on Semihandmade’s Recommended Installers page?

Yes. Coastline Harmony Builders is listed on Semihandmade’s Recommended Installers page for Orange County & Los Angeles County.

Do you only install cabinets, or can you manage the full kitchen remodel?

We can do both. Some clients only need cabinet installation, while others need a full kitchen remodel with demolition, drywall, flooring, painting, countertops, appliances, and licensed plumbing/electrical coordination.

Do I need a permit for a Semihandmade kitchen project?

It depends on the scope. Basic cabinet replacement may not require a permit, but electrical, plumbing, structural-related work, or layout changes may require permits and inspections. We can help review the project and coordinate permit support when required.

Why should I hire a Semihandmade recommended contractor instead of a standard installer?

Standard installers typically only assemble cabinets. As a licensed General Contractor, we handle everything—from structural changes and permits to plumbing and electrical work—ensuring your Semihandmade or BOXI kitchen is completed perfectly from start to finish in OC and LA.

How long does a Semihandmade kitchen remodel take in Orange County or Los Angeles County?

The timeline for a Semihandmade or BOXI kitchen remodel depends on the scope of work. If it is a straightforward cabinet installation using pre-assembled BOXI units, it can take just a few days. However, a full turnkey kitchen renovation that involves demolition, rerouting plumbing and electrical systems, drywall repair, and installing new countertops typically takes 3 to 6 weeks. As a licensed General Contractor, we provide a detailed schedule upfront and coordinate all trades to ensure your project stays on track without unnecessary delays.
